Our Story and Mission

Project Girl Code was founded by best friends, Mabry and Zoe. Despite meeting as direct competitors they developed a friendship that prioritized the relationship. They decided to utilize their combined experiences and strengths to share positive strategies to grow friendships and reduce girl against girl bullying.

Mabry brings a passion for relationships to Project Girl Code. Her goal is to equip girls with practical skills to develop friendships. She hopes girls learn to create environments where everyone feels valued, included and supported. Mabry believes confidence grows strongest in community, not competition.

Zoe brings a deep understanding of the   devastating power of girl against girl bullying. Despite having faced horrific attempts by her peers to isolate and shame her, she found her strength. Project Girl Code is inspired by her strong, unwavering friendship with Mabry. Building friendships that strengthen self-worth and grow confidence are worth the effort.

Together, Mabry and Zoe created Project Girl Code to do more than raise awareness — they created it to change behavior. By giving girls clear language, practical tools, and positive peer leadership, the program helps them practice kindness, handle conflict, and build trust in real-life situations.

Project Girl Code equips girls to become encouragers, inclusive friends, and confident leaders who influence the culture around them. When girls learn how to support one another, classrooms feel safer, friendships grow stronger, and confidence becomes shared instead of competitive.

Their vision is simple but powerful: a generation of girls who measure strength not by comparison, but by compassion — and who choose to rise together.
